Sources noted that Russian antimony trioxide market slightly picked up this past week as some buyers sent more inquiries concerning about potential appreciation.

 A Russian trader said that though he receives more inquries from end –users, most are for keeping informed by price and few customers are interested in buying. He said, “I heard of higher prices at RUB 470-480/KG (usd 15667-16000 /mt) in spot market last week ,up by at least RUB 30/KG (USD 1000/T) from that two weeks ago.”

 With a typical trading volume of 30tpm, he reported that antimony trioxide market remains weak even if some suppliers lift offers and hold back from selling, while consumers send more inquiries, worrying a potential appreciation, he expected that the market is likely to brisk up in the neatern as consumers is running out stocks.

 Another Russian Trader confirmed a better market. He said, “we plan to import 10 tons of antimony trioxie and suppliers put their offers at about usd 12/kg, the same as that of last week.”

 The source confirmed that the prices of antimony trioxide 99.5% min rose slightly to RUB 460-470KG (USD 15333-15667/T) from last week. “we receive more inquiries these days, and the demand for the marterial is likely to increase
